Overview
Cyrebro ("the App", "we", "us") is an invitation-only web app operated by Lytical Ventures at cyrebro.lyticalventures.com. It helps people in our network see which security leaders on our list they already know, so they can choose to introduce us. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, what is stored, and who it is shared with, including data received from Google APIs.
Google data the App accesses
When you sign in with Google, the App asks for the following permissions. You can review each one on Google's consent screen before granting it.

The App does not read the body, subject or attachments of any email, and does not look at messages with anyone not on the list. |
Gmail, send (gmail.send) | Sends an introduction email from your Gmail account only when you review a draft in the App and click Send. Nothing is ever sent automatically. |
How Google data is processed
- Matching happens in your browser. Your contacts and Gmail search results are processed on your device. They are not uploaded to, stored on, or logged by our servers.
- Our server exchanges your Google sign-in code for a short-lived access token and passes that token back to your browser. We do not store the token, and we do not request offline access or refresh tokens.
- Your match results are shown only to you.
What we store
Our database stores only the following:
- Your name and email address from your Google profile, the invite code you used (if any), and when you first signed in.
- The introductions you choose to offer or pass on, including the text of any intro email you choose to send.
- People you choose to suggest in the optional "Know someone we should meet?" form.
- Basic usage events (for example, page viewed, sign-in completed, results viewed, intro offered), used to understand whether the App is working.
We never store your contact list, your Gmail messages or metadata, or the list of people you were matched with but did not choose to introduce.
How we use and share data
- We use the stored data only to operate the App and to follow up on the introductions you chose to make.
- We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- We do not share your data with third parties, except the service providers that host the App on our behalf: Vercel (web hosting) and Turso (database). They process data only to provide those services.
- Intro emails you choose to send go to the recipient you see in the draft, through your own Gmail account.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Cyrebro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Security
All traffic to the App is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to stored data is limited to Lytical Ventures administrators.
Retention and deletion
We keep the stored data described above for as long as the App is in use. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing lucas@lyticalventures.com, and we will delete it within 30 days. You can revoke the App's access to your Google account at any time at Google Account Permissions.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
